For Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer). Intel Macs are not supported.
Windows is an untested beta. Installation, audio and Serum have not been tested on a real Windows PC yet. Expect issues and please share feedback.
Install on Windows
For Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). About two minutes. Steps 1 and 2 are only needed the first time.
- Get the SoundZapper certificate
It tells Windows that SoundZapper really comes from us.
Download certificateYou already downloaded it on this browser. Installed it too? Skip to step 3.
- Install the certificate
- Open the downloaded certificate and click Install Certificate.
- Choose Local Machine and click Next. Say yes when Windows asks.
- Choose Place all certificates in the following store and click Browse.
- Pick Trusted People, click OK, then Next and Finish.
- Install SoundZapper
Click the button below, open the downloaded file and click Install.
- Start SoundZapper
Find it in the Start menu. Updates arrive automatically from now on.
If Windows says the app has an invalid signature, stop and do not install it. Something not working? Tell us through Feedback and include the message Windows showed you.
Optional: check the certificate yourself
In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 -LiteralPath "$HOME\Downloads\SoundZapper-Beta.cer". The result should match If it does not, do not install it.
